July 2008 Muxtape

A new one up at my Muxtape. I've yet to tire of "Sequestered in Memphis" by The Hold Steady, but some of you might have.

Also, I put up a zip of the full files, so if you're willing to brave the dark waters of megaupload, you can get it here.

Edit: Mux is being a little bitch right now, and after getting weird errors for every single attempt at uploading each separate song, I'm giving up and will just put it on Mux proper later. But the megaupload link should work.

Edit 2: Works now.

Fake Guns Are Loud: A JDK YouTube Original

Disclaimer! The YouTube clip embedded below is not some random whatever. This is never-before-seen footage from my personal archive.

That, or I found a firewire cable in my camera case and decided to jump through the hoops of Windows Movie Maker to edit together some four-year-old footage that is amusing enough to warrant said hoop-jumping.

So, I present:

Fake Guns Are Loud (August 2004)
featuring myself, Braden Schuenke, Jason Vaurio, and Mike Flavin

Background: This was the vague pre-production for my attempt at making an amateur feature in 2004. Thus, I'm 18 years old in this video. It's like a portal into a naive past!

Also, said feature involved guns, and even though the script had no gunshots fired, why not test said prop guns?

Excuses: It's my first YouTube, so I effed up the aspect ratio. Blame Windows Movie Maker.
