JackThe rest:
The Los Angeles Art House Film Festival would like to thank you for your submission to our 2012 festival. We regret to inform you that your film, Archetype was not chosen for the 2012 Filmmaker Competition. Due to the vast amount of submissions of high quality projects, our decisions were exceedingly difficult to make. Unfortunately, the exhibition limitations only allow for a small amount of films to be screened in comparison to the submissions we received. As you can imagine, it is a difficult task to make our final selections, as each film has its own unique style and production elements.
We want to stress the importance of your achievement in making a film. Completing a film is an extraordinary feat, one that you should take great pride in. We would like to encourage your contributions to cinema, and we hope you will consider The LA Art House Film Festival for future submissions. We appreciate your submission and interest in our festival. Thank you, and best of luck in your future projects.

Let me burn a bridge for a sec: Thank you to the Mt. Hood Fest and this one for actually letting me know that they passed on Arc. A big Fuck You to Wild Rose for letting the deadline pass and not calling me (expected) or not even sending me a goddamn form e-mail and having me just have to assume that I lit more money on fire. Well, not really on fire; used to screen other films and fund their festival while I sit here in Burnsville fucking Minnesota writing a million films that will all be festival rejects.
Oh how I love being bitter. And never waiting to calm down.
I'm seven rejections away from announcing JACKFEST2013, which will exclusively screen my inane shorts and my confusing features. Sometime you have to say FUCK YOU, in all caps, to the world, because, fuck, if I can't get into a fest with "Arthouse" in the title (why I applied), then... well...
