Boom.
Apologies for the last two muxes ending with very long songs. Or, in this case, two very long songs. But it makes sense... I think.
1. The Tallest Man On Earth - Darkness of the Dream (Dark Bird Is Home)
2. Will Butler - Son of God (Policy)
3. Toro Y Moi - Spell It Out (What For?)
4. Hot Chip - Love Is The Future (Why Make Sense?)
5. Crystal Castles - Not In Love (Album Version) (Crystal Castles II)
6. Blanck Mass - Atrophies (Dumb Flesh)
7. Prefuse 73 - Infrared (feat. Sam Dew) (Rivington Nao Rio)
8. RJD2 - Chicken-Bone Circuit (Dead Ringer)
9. Kendrick Lamar - How Much A Dollar Cost (feat. James Fauntleroy and Ronald Isley) (To Pimp A Butterfly)
10. Four Tet - First Thing (Rounds)
11. DJ Shadow - Stem / Long Stem (Endtroducing...)
12. Viet Cong - Death (Viet Cong)

New music in brief
In brief because I have to pick up a pizza in twenty minutes.
Broken Social Scene - Forgiveness Rock Record
A grower. I think. Any album that is really long raises an automatic red flag; like they can't weed out the chaff so it's strong all around. The undisciplined sprawl of 2005's self-titled is mostly gone, and it sometimes has glimmers of brilliance that remind of You Forgot It In People, albeit barely. It still just sounds like a follow-up to the jammy Kevin Drew and Brendan Canning records, and barring a little electro in some songs, it's more of the same.
Crystal Castles - Crystal Castles 2
After the first and third tracks sound mastered by the Times New Viking engineer (read: blown the fuck out), they get back into the chiptune chillwave that made their debut so alluring for nighttime drives.
LCD Soundsystem - This Is Happening
Much more along the lines of Murphy's self-titled than the excellent Sound of Silver. He seems to regress into the mode of recycling beats and improvising the vocals rather than the surprisingly-solid lyrics of his second album. Also a bit hard to gauge with three listens, given most songs are over seven minutes.
MGMT - Congratulations
Credit is due, I suppose, when a Singles Band eschews a follow-up that was expected to have a number of meh duds and at least two far-and-away standout tracks like their prior album's "Time To Pretend" and "Kids" and go in a number of unpredictable directions. So far I'm favoring "Flash Delirium" as the "single," and while it initially doesn't seem special, it just builds and builds all the way to the end.
The Tallest Man On Earth - The Wild Hunt
Will the Dylan comparisons ever end? I was never a huge promoter of Shallow Graves, but while this album seems much more refined, it also seems reigned in. All we have here in terms of out-and-out bombast is the rising shout of "King of Spain."

Mux032: drawckaB
Taking songs at the end of albums and putting them at the front; taking songs from the front of albums and putting them at the back. That, or just an excuse to have "Kid A" followed by the intro of The xx's album.
And check it at drop.io, as usual.
Trackz:
1. The Smashing Pumpkins - Daydream (JDK No-Corgan Edit)
2. Why? - This Blackest Purse
3. Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Maps (JDK Edit)
4. The National - Trophy Wife
5. The Tallest Man On Earth - The Sparrow and the Medicine
6. The Rural Albert Advantage - Luciana
7. Spoon - Sister Jack
8. My Bloody Valentine - When You Sleep
9. Wolf Parade - We Built Another World
10. Daft Punk - Digital Love
11. Radiohead - Kid A
12. The xx - Intro
